A Solid Gold Sound

Two weeks before our wedding and they can't even call us to tell us the company is going out of business. Then they sell our info on Craig's list. WTF?? These people are LIARS!! DO NOT book these people. And for Christ's sake, DO NOT Pre Pay!!

Dj craig asked me to come here to tell everyone how he did after the wedding. My sisters wedding was really fun and everything went well. at first no one was dancing but once they started hearing all the fun stuff they were out there pretty quickly. The dance lights were helping because my family usually does not dance but i think because it was dark they felt ok with it more. Craig helped us with all the line dances and was funny all night getting people up there and making them dance too. They were all very helpfull and they even did our video too which I can not wait to see, the videographer was very nice and interviewed us and other people in my family. Overall I give this DJ company two thumbs up!

DON NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! GOOGLE THEM FIRST! THEIR IS A REASON THE Better Business Bureau GIVES THEM AN 'F' RATING!!! A SOID GOLD SCAM IS WHAT THEY ARE!!!

Great DJ! fun and loved everything about him, we picked out all the songs so I have to credit that to us, but he was very fun and energetic. they were way lower in cost than all the others, but I think they do a better job than most other Djs that I have seen at other weddings

Solid gold asked me to come on here and tell others how much fun we had. The Dj was truely open to our preferences. He did an excellent job and we all danced until the cows came home. I have already recomended them to friends of ours who they will be doing there wedding as well. DJ Adam was great! Erica

Richard really communicated well with us and was great at reminding us of what was going on and what to expect. I appreciate that he kept in constant contact with us prior to our wedding. He gave us whatever we needed. He was prompt, professional, very friendly and out going! Everything was done to our specifications even when a surprise song was needed. I can't believe what a difference a DJ makes! Our guests were on the floor all night and we received tons of compliments on DJ Richard!! He really interacted very well with everyone and met everyone's requests. He had a great sense of fun!!!! You can really tell that he loves his job and enjoys what he does and that really makes a difference. We couldn't have made a better decision going with A Solid Gold Sound!

We Loved Solid gold Sound! We got a lot of DJ quotes for over $800 but solid gold gave us a very fair price and we loved what we received. They gave us a free hour of set up which other djs did not offer and we liked the way they played requests from our entire bridal party and played all of our songs too. Dj Craig was very interactive with our guests and no one wanted to go home at the end of the night. We came in from out of town to get married but they made it easy to choose our music also. We had a great DJ! He worked with our craziness!! Everything went great, everyone had a lot of fun and he was willing to try new things, he got the guests involved right away, he had a great mix of music, was very professional and none of us could stop dancing! Our wedding videos are amazing! Most of the wedding videos I have ever seen the video camera just sits on the tripod and the Videographer doesn't get personal. With our video the Videographer had the video camera in his hand walking around with us, dancing with us and the video makes us feel like we are reliving the moment over again and again!! We will recommend A Solid Gold Sound to everyone. Thanks for giving us a wonderful memorable wedding day!!!

On December 2009 I booked a D.J for New Years Eve Party, this jerks did not showed up on the day of the event. They charged my credity card, three days later I called the office and I spoke with Ryan he is stupid ass, he said I will find out to see what happen. I asked for my refund and he said we will send your refund within a week it has been 3 weeks and I have not received the refund. I don't understand why these bunch of crooks still in business. My advice for everyone is "DO NOT GET INVOLVE WITH THEM" I will suit them, they all should be in jail. bunch of jacks

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! Just google "A SOLID GOLD SOUND SCAM" and replace scam with: Ripoff, complaints, nightmare and you will get 1000's of hits. They are not as advertised and are a complete scam. Just google that and see for yourself. You'll save yourself from a disaster.

We booked the DJ with some extra's (lighting, etc.) The extra's weren't delivered. We paid in advance for 2 hours of extra music that "is fully refundable" if not used. It's been over a month and we are still waiting for the refund of the one hour. The DJ was great. He played straight from our submitted song list. He was very professional. He made the announcements, pronounced names correctly, etc. Price was great. Response loses points because of the refund issue.

I wasn't pleased with the service I received. The didn't follow through on what they said. I did end up liking the DJ they sent...after one was finally assigned who called us back, but the rest of the company is, for the most part, unprofessional.

They were very unprofessional and did not give me everything I was promised. They advertised for themselves during the reception so many times. I asked for my DJ to be involved with the crowd and they were not. My reception was a complete mess thanks to them.

The DJ did a great job with the music selection. The company basically asks you a bunch of questions to determine which DJ's personality will work best with you. We didn't want people sitting around during the reception, but we also didn't want them playing Village People all nigth either. My only disapointment is that we called a few weeks before the wedding to add the 'props' package. We were charged for them but they were never used. Unfortunately it wasn't until the wedding was over that we realized this. But we also forgot to give the DJ his tip, so the expensive is a wash.

It took this company over 7 months AFTER our wedding to get us our (3) DVD's and when they finally came (after I called and emailed them a thousand times and they gave me excuse after excuse) the quality was awful! In the church, the priest's voice was very echo'ed and the videographer didn't get my face as I walked down the aisle, he didn't get my maid of honor's face when she walked in either. Not to mention that through out the ceremony he kept panning up to crusifix abouve the alter ... which was nice and all but once or twice was plenty. Plus, with these dvd's you can't fast forward. To see a certain part you'd have to watch the whole video over again! I'm glad I have our dvd's over nothing at all but for the money you pay ... you should get better quality. Go with a reputable company like Spectrum. Yes, you pay more but trust me ... You get what you pay for!
