Georgia at Talk of the Town was awesome to work with. She was easy to get in touch with and answered all of our questions. We had moved to a different state and so we did our tasting quite early and the food was amazing. We were so excited to taste it again at our wedding and it was delicious. Everyone loved it and there was more than enough food for everyone! Thank you so much for everything.

Her professionalism and warmth showed how invested she was to create a flawless event, no matter what we requested. Talk of the Town went above and beyond in their preparations and had impeccable and attentive staff during our event. I wouldn't choose anyone else!

We used Talk of the Town catering for our wedding at Roswell Founders Hall, and the food was absolutely amazing. Food was really important to us, so we were thrilled that everything was as good as it was at our tasting. The shrimp and grits station was our favorite! We had several guests tell us it was some of the best wedding food they had ever had, and we definitely agreed. The plating was beautiful as well. We would definitely recommend them!

Wonderful experience! Our contact Peggy is wonderful and very helpful. She was very responsive and worked diligently with us to secure the perfect menu, linens, and room layout. The food was also perfect! I highly recommend the Smoked Gutta Grits and the chicken.

Talk of the Town is the best caterer in Atlanta. I had so many problems with the "top tier' caterers that didn't want to deal with a smaller wedding. The cheaper smaller caterers were not very professional. The trendy ones, too expensive. They blew us away when they gave us a free tasting that was easy to set up. Their bid proposals were the most detailed and informative. They were always much more timely than anyone else. They took care of the rentals.The food was amazing. Everyone at the wedding said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. ToT was flexible to include exactly what we wanted for organics. They helped us with using our own glass bottle sodas, instead of a bartender. The waitstaff was fantastic, service was there, but not even noticible. At the end they packed all of the food to go, so we had a great meal the next day. They really made the wedding super special.

The food was so delicious. Everyone loved the food and their was no complaints. They were easy to work with even people with food allergies. Thank you for helping to make our wedding amazing.

The food was phenomenal! Everything tasted amazing! People are still raving about the food. Neither of our families are from Georgia so we were a little worried that only the southerners would eat the shrimp and grits; however, they were a hit! Since we did that station everyone has been trying to do it too, but none compare! Georgina was great to work with as well! She was very helpful in making a fantastic feast on our budget. I'm still dreaming of that food!

Wonderful to work with, exceptional service, and the food was amazing. Georgina made planning our wedding reception from another state easy and worry-free, and hiccups and changes on our end didn't phase her one bit. Our guests raved about the food and set-up, and my husband is still dreaming about the sweet potatoes! Overall wonderful experience.

Chris was AMAZING! Very professional and such a genuine person. I believe it is rare for someone owning a business to not want to make recommendations that will bring in more money. He gave us his honest opinon, even when that meant a cheaper route. I highly recommend not only for the service, but the food is EXCELLENT!!

Talk of the Town did a great job with the food at our wedding, and we have gotten a lot of compliments about the food from our guests. We were going for a southern feel and went with the heavy hors d'oeuvres option. Based on our experiences, we would highly recommend the shrimp & grits, mini beef wellingtons, pork barbeque, and hummus sampler. The servers at Talk of the Town were amazing. They were so nice and helpful and were great with making sure my sister and I got the dairy-free version of the passed hors d'oeuvres. Regarding service before the wedding, Talk of the Town were sometimes difficult to connect with. As some of the reviewers have mentioned, Talk of the Town will let you do a tasting, but you have to try the foods they have that day, which means you may not get a chance to taste any of your menu items before the wedding. Even though we were told they would notify us if any of our menu items were available for tasting before our wedding (we first met with talk of the town 9 months before our wedding), they never followed up with us. Also, when our bill was due, they “forgot” that we had already submitted a $500 deposit, which I had to remind them of (we were informed that they switched their invoicing system, so hopefully they have gotten that all figured out and won’t be making those mistakes in the future). Overall, if you can get past some of the issues and disorganization with their planning, the food and service is amazing and highly recommended.

Talk of The Town is one of the best values for catering in the Atlanta area. The food was good but not outstanding. Everything arrived on time and was exactly as we had ordered it. However, we did experience some problems regarding the final payment. When we booked Talk of The Town, we put our deposit on a credit card. Naturally we assumed that we could pay the final balance by credit card as well. When the final payment was due, we were told that Talk of The Town only accepts cash and checks and that a credit card should not have been accepted for the deposit. This information should have been communicated up front.

Working with Talk of the Town was very easy--they were quick to respond to both phone calls and e-mails. The food turned out to be pretty good; however, we were really disappointed to find out that they would NOT do a tasting of all menu items before the wedding. They do what they call a "Quality tasting" which means they make something that's terribly "fancy" and you get to try that. We were hoping for a simple menu--we're picky eaters--and we tried several things that we would never dream of having at our wedding (even though they were pretty good, just not what we were going for). Perhaps they should have asked us ahead of time what we were hoping for and then let us try something along the lines of what we were wanting. But whatever, everything turned out perfectly. They were on time, they set up, and the waiters/waitresses were great all night. I would definitely recommend them.
