Carl House

My daughter's wedding was everything she ever imagined it would be... I wouldn't change one thing about our experience with The Carl House. It was perfect!!! Monika and Kelsey, and everyone else we met through our planning, were gracious and accommodating. The venue is lovely, rain or shine, and we were happy with all the vendors that were referred to us as well. Thank you!

From my first tour of the Carl House, I knew it would fulfil the April garden wedding I dreamed of as a little girl. The garden is absolutely gorgeous, perfectly manicured and pristine. My favorite aspect of the garen is the walk way to the brick alter, specifically the white bridge. It's so pretty and the perfect opportunity to show off my dress. It also provides wonderful picture opportunities. The house itself is breath taking, especially the grand stair case leading into the ballroom. The ballrom is absolutely beautiful, open and perfect for the reception. The bridal and groom rooms are so cozy, yet spacious. I really enjoyed getting dressed and taking pictures in the bridal room. Now, the service of the Carl House could not have been more perfect. Monika, the sales rep, and Kelsey, the wedding director, were so professional, curteous and extremely helpful. They both worked so well with us and made sure our day was perfect. The day of the wedding, Kelsey was extraordiniarily attentive. She was with us during pictures, making sure we had water and whatever else we needed. The entire afternoon she and Nicole (a server) made sure the entire wedding party and their dates had a drink in hand. We never had a warm beer or glass of wine the entire day. Kelsey made sure everything ran on time that day... how many weddings actually start on time? Ours did and we were grateful for that, as were the guests because it was very hot that day. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the Gardenia menu, which is more of an Italian theme. A good friend of ours is allergic to garlic and they made him a plate of food specifically without a trace of garlic. He raved his food was still amazing. We used Lindy, the in-house florist, and our flowers were absolutely stunning. She was excellent about staying within our budget. Walking in the bridal room and seeing my bouquet brought me to tears... I was in awe. The bridesmaid bouquets were bright and beautiful, perfectly coordinating with their dresses. The Carl House has a vendor list which makes choosing vendors stress free. We used several vendors from their list and we are so glad we did. The entire wedding process was relatively stress free and so much fun. The Carl House really helped with that. If we needed anything, Monika and Kelsey were always there. The Carl House is the perfect place for a wedding. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Carl House was brilliant!!! They did a fantastic job and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding or venue!!! We had tons of comments from guest's about how beautiful and perfect Carl House was for our wedding. The food was excellent and we enjoyed every minute of our wedding!!!! I highly, highly, highly recommend Carl House and all of the staff there!!!

Paul and I had the most amazing wedding at the Carl House! The grounds and house were beautiful which made our pictures turn out amazing and staff was so great! Our guests made multiple comments throughout the night about how well they were taken care of and even got to know them by name! The food was fantastic and flawlessly displayed and the photo booth was so much fun! Carl House even packed up our leftover cake, flowers, and belongings at the end of the night so we could go enjoy our first evening as husband and wife! We will never forget our experience at the Carl House and would recommend them to anyone who wants the absolute perfect wedding!

I can not say enough good things about my experience with Carl House. My daughters have several friends who got married around the same time and Carl House is rated #1 by all of us. Every one of my guest have frequently commented that my wedding was one of the best they have ever attended and many (myself included ) said it was the best wedding they ever attended. Thanks in a big part to everyone @ Carl House. I have already referred many potential couples, one has already decided she will use them for her wedding.

Carl House has a very friendly and helpful stuff. The only real "problem" we ran into was their lack of flexibility as far as meetings and scheduling. I know they host a lot of events, which makes it hard to accommodate everyone; I think more communication about the other events happening around the date of your wedding will help you plan better.

I could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding. The venue, staff, food and price was great!

Carl House was hands down the best choice for our ceremony. The facility is absolutely gorgeous. The landscape beautiful for our outside ceremony. All of the staff at Carl House were very friendly and professional. We were truely treated like royality on our special day. We are still hearing from our friends and family about how they felt like they were in a fairy tale because the whole place is just so classy and the food was fabulous. Thank you so much Carl House for making our day truely special. It was worth every penny and more.

My husband and I absolutely loved our wedding! The staff is so personable, caring, and accommodating! Monika, their sales person is a former Carl House bride, which showed me she must of loved her wedding to be working their now. The owner BB even came and sat in on our first appointment which really impressed me because it shows she really gets involved with the brides. The house speaks for itself, beautiful inside and outside ceremony site, which really sold me because I think you have to love the inside as much as the outside incase it rains. Go check it out, I fell in love!

I highly recommend Carl House to anyone looking for a wedding venue. Carl House was exactly the place I was looking for to have my outdoor wedding. The grounds of the facility are gorgeous with beautiful gardens and antebellum style architecture. It had rained earlier on my wedding day, but everything still turned out better than I had even expected for the wedding ceremony. The staff at Carl House was extremely friendly and helpful when planning my wedding, and they really helped to make it a lot stressful for me. Denise took care of all of the ceremony details and schedule for the night according to what we wanted. The owner, Ms. BB Webb, also saw to it that all of our needs were met from the months before the wedding up until the moment we pulled away. The food provided with our wedding package was also outstanding! All of the guests seemed to be pleased with their meals, and the private dinner with my husband was a nice touch. The Carl House was the perfect place for our October 24, 2009 wedding. Not only was the venue beautiful and was perfect for what we wanted, the people who work there helped to make it a great day as well. Everything went smoothly on our wedding. The staff at the Carl House was very helpful each step of the way and was extremely great on our wedding day. The food was amazing as well! In all, we were very pleased with the Carl House and would recommend it to all of our family and friends.

It rained on our wedding day :( BUT it worked out perfectly! The Carl House is absolutely beautiful on the inside (with its double staircase and wonderful details). Denise, our wedding director, was so helpful. The Carl House staff didnt miss a beat the whole day. Everything was so well planned and timed to perfection. Guests weren't leaving early or looking bored at any moment!! It was beautiful, rainy, and perfect!

The Carl House staff were amazing! They made my dream wedding come true! The entire staff from the day we first looked at the Carl House up to the night of the wedding were extraordinary! Although Carl House was a little expensive, it was totally worth it. I highly recommend Carl House. The entire house and grounds are so beautiful.

Carl House is absolutely stunning. The garden is breathtaking in person and the ballroom is elegant and welcoming. The food was extremely tasty, and guests went on and on all night about how beautiful everything was. It is a bit pricey, but the rates are competitive with other venues like Primrose Cottage, Flint Hill and Park Tavern. And, to be completely honest, I think Carl House is way more impressive and beautiful than any other venue I've seen in Georgia. Both Faye and Denise are extremely nice, and everyone on the Carl House staff was extremely accommodating. I highly recommend them!

We had such a wonderful day... the surroundings were beautiful, the food was excellent, and the staff was so helpful. My husband and I were just able to enjoy the day and seeing all our friends and family. Well worth it!

The staff at the Carl House were extremely informative, helpful and courteous. being that my husband and I had never been married or experienced the planning of a wedding before, Denise--our wedding planner that works with the Carl House---was very helpful with helping us make decisions and suggestions. There were plenty of things involved in the wedding that neither of us had thought of or even considered and Denise, along with Faye and the rest of the Carl House staff, were right there to help with every last detail and question. Now, my husband and I had started our search for a venue elsewhere and were not satisfied with the sizes of the venues or the prices. We were not planning on a large wedding but we still wanted our guests to be comfortable and have room to dance and mingle. Once we pulled into the Carl House drive, we knew we didn't have to search anymore. At that point, money was no longer our main concern. We NEEDED to get married here. The garden and entire landscape was gorgeous and when we walked inside, it just felt so romantic. We spoke to Faye about dates and times and all of those fun things involved with beginning a wedding. She went over every possible angle with customizing the menus to our liking and also letting us know that they were pretty much willing to allow us to do anything we wanted when it came to decorating. That was a big concern of mine, all of the OTHER venues that we had looked at said that we were not allowed to throw rose petals (if we did then we would have to have one of our guests or the flower girls go pick them up afterwards!) we also weren't allowed to place any decor on the grass or garden areas at other venues. We were also very limited to what or how much lights, bows and other decor that we wanted to use. With the Carl House, we were allowed to place shepards hooks along the pathway (in the grass!) and we were allowed to tie pew bows to chairs and stairways. They were very accommodating. Denise, our wedding planner, met with us about 3 months before our actual wedding day and set up a time line for our special day, along with finalizing every little detail. We ended up renting out a trellis from the Carl House along with table centerpieces. They offer much much more to rent for the day too. The entire place is so gorgeous that most of the original decorating that my husband and I had planned on was forgotten once we decided on the Carl House. It is beautifully decorated with small trees and lighted ivy on the interior that we saved some money by sticking with the original decor of the Carl House. And if it didn't already sound good...the food!!! Oh my gosh! The food was amazing. They have their own cooks and cater to all of their own venues and it's great! I only wish that we could have sent home goody bags with everyone.

The Carl House was an amazing place for our wedding. Faye was so nice to work with. Denise was so calm on the big day and she really was everything a wedding coordinator was supposed to be. The food...ohhh the food. It was so good. I am still getting compliments about how good the food was at my wedding 1 month later. The apple chutney tartlets were my favorite but we had tons of compliments about the fried green tomatoes. Beautiful, Professional, Perfect!

Having my wedding at the Carl House was so romantic. The scenary is breathtaking. Your guests will love it!
