Country Club of the South

My guests and I had a great time at my wedding at CCS. There was some confusion in the middle of my planning as they switched back and forth between event directors but eventually all was worked out. They were flexible with me when I had to change my date but failed to let me know that the complimentary villa (which I had a lot of plans to use for the day of) would not be available on my new date. This made my day a lot more hectic than I had planned but I did what I could. Also, the food was not as good on my wedding day than at the actual tasting, but my guests seemed to be satisfied with dinner. They LOVED the appetizers served during cocktail hour. The bartenders were fabulous to my guests as was the wait staff. Also, during my planning process I wanted to use shepard hooks coming down the isle only to realize day of that the turf has cement under it in the main section of the grass. This was great for guests as it had rained that week but not great for my florist. We worked around that as well, but would have been nice to know ahead of time. I wish the club allowed ceremonies in other places on grounds as it is so pretty there, but the space we were in worked out fine. The wrought iron chandeliers in the ballroom worked out great for my rustic theme.

I had my wedding here and was very pleased with how everything turned out! Britney, was a delight to work with and she handled everything. We got married in front of the huge stone fireplace and then had our reception down in the dining room. All my guests raved about what a great time they had. I even came in slightly under budget, what a bonus!

Country Club of the South is such a warm and classy place for a wedding or big event. The event coordinator for the club, Cricket Russell, is wonderful and has tons of experience in planning events. She will definitely help make your day come together exactly like you vision it. I did not have one single problem with my big day at the Country Club and I felt very confident that Cricket would make it beautiful and she most definitely did!! The chef is outstanding and I am still getting compliments from people about how delicious the food was at both the rehearsal dinner and the reception. I highly reccommend the Country Club for your wedding day. Mine was more than I ever dreamed it would be. There is also a big 2 story Villa right next to the Country Club that you can stay at during your wedding weekend to make things super convenient. We had our entire event (wedding weekend) at the Country Club and stayed at the Villa and it was so perfect!!!!!

My wedding experience with the CCS was exceptional! The venue is absolutely breathtaking and the service we personally received was superior. The only thing that couldÂ’ve been better was the heaters provided for the outdoor ceremony. It was a very chilly day and the heaters didnÂ’t provide much or any heat for our guests. Other than that, everything went as planned and Cricket Russel was great to work with : ) Thanks CCS for making my wedding day even more memorable!

Country Club of the South is awesome! The scenery, presentation and the professionalism of the staff is unbelievable. Cricket was very easy to work with, she listened to all my wishes and made them happen from start to finish. They work with your budget 100%. When I told the chef that I loved pineapples, when my plate came out on my wedding day the pineapples was right on my plate. I was the happiest person walking on my wedding day. They made it very magical moment for us. I would highly recommend Country Club of the South it's the best!!

A beautiful setting with exceptional service, even for the smaller wedding. Ours was a small intimate reception but the quality was grand, with an elegant but welcoming feel. The food quality as well as the presentation was fantastic. The staff was always available, quietly in the background and very professional. I highly recommend Country Club of the South for any size wedding.
