Great selection and very helpful in store. Do be aware that not everything is available both in store and online. I registered for items in both locations so people had options however they chose to shop. Also, if you register very early check in on items as some things are seasonal and will get discontinued.
Their registry is awesome because you get rewards on gifts purchased off your registry and then get a rewards gift card and extra discounts on your purchases after the wedding. For certain brands in china and cookware you can also get bonus gifts.

Everything went well with Macy's Registry except they let me register for flatware that turned out to be discontinued...everyone kept trying to get me a place setting only to find out the pattern was discontinued.

We got exactly what we wanted onto our registry.The best thing was the customer service.When we needed a change in our information they where very polite and addressed our problems.

We registered at Macy's for our wedding and overall we had a good experience. The bridal registry staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We received almost all of the gifts we registered for at this store and they all were quality items. The registry online was fairly easy to use and we especially appreciated the Macy's card rewards program they have. It gave us a certain percentage of all purchases off our registry back to us in the form of a gift card - a nice bonus! I would recommend registering with them since it is a national chain which is nice for guests.
I also bought earrings for my wedding there and they were beautiful!

Macy's is a great store and has very helpful staff.I remember having all the questions answered on certain house hold appliances.They have great prices and a great registry system.

We used them for our registry. Over half of the items were not wrapped when they arrived even though they were supposed to be. The website did not keep track of gift cards bought through the registry. Only half of one order arrived and another item was returned to the store before we received it and the purchaser never ordered a return. I don't think I would use them again. Reliability is not their strong suit.

We had a gift registry with macys.com which worked out really well as I am from the UK so my friends and family could order online and it was delivered straight to our new home in the USA.
The only small problem we had was that they have a bigger range online than they have in any store, so those who wanted to buy the gifts in person usually couldn't find what they wanted in the store.

Beware if your registry items are being shipped to you! Macy's couldn't seem to get our shipping address right, despite changing it twice online and THREE TIMES with a customer service rep. Our gifts that were delivered to the wrong address were simply sent back. A lot of our guests didn't realize that we never got the gift they sent us! Avoid an embarrassing ordeal, and stick with another store.

the customer service representative was extremely inexperienced and was not any help at all in getting our wedding registry planned..she finally had to call another more experienced agent to help us..very unprofessional.....

I used Macy's for my Bridesmaids gifts, and they went above and beyond to accommodate me. I had a very unique request, and I must say that I was impressed by their level of willingness to go "outside the box".
I had a special ensemble put together for my bridesmaids, an ensemble which included jewelry and classic black tie clothing. My bridesmaids all have unique tastes as well as unique physiques, but Macy's help me put something together that not only fit my bridesmaid's figures, but also their individual tastes.
I highy recommend Macy's!

I went to Macy's and went to their clearance social dress section. The sales ladies were very helpful in finding white dresses in my sizw and I was able to get a beautiful dress at a great price! The dress was originally $169 but I got it for $99.
The cashier also took great care in properly wrapping it and putting it in a garment bag for me.
I would definitely recommend this to a bride on a budget!
