Obsidian Duo

My husband and I used Carla and Daniel of Obsidian Duo for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at the Atlanta Biltmore. We had interviewed several musicians prior to choosing them and couldn't have been happier! Not only were they very professional and sounded great but they were the most reasonably priced musicians we came across. We would recommend them to anyone!

I had the piano/violin duo for my wedding on June 18th. Carla and her husband are absolutely wonderful to work with! Not only did I enjoy communicating with Carla before the wedding, but I was blown away by the beautiful music. I also needed a soloist at the last minute, and Carla had one booked within one day! They are wonderful, and if you are smart you will use them to make your day so special like they did mine!

Carla and Daniel were amazing to work with. We booked them just a few weeks before our wedding date. My husband and I knew we wanted some traditional elements and some unique musical pieces. They played everything for us and helped us customize the music for our ceremony. After meeting with them, they provided a cd of our music for the rehearsal. It was a pleasure working with both of them, and we highly recommend them.

I was so Thankful to have Obsidian Duo provide my ceremony music. They were very friendly and professional. They are very flexible with music selection, and they performed beautifully. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of musicians for their wedding.

The obsidian duo did an amazing job at our wedding! They worked with us so that we could have ceremony music that was fitting for us as a couple. I can't thank them enough for adding the perfect touch to our wedding day. I would recommend them to any bride!!

Carla and Daniel provided music (violin and keyboard) for our outdoor ceremony. Carla was responsive whenever we emailed, they sounded great, they were affordable, and they even gave us a CD of the music we selected (great to have for the rehearsal!). I would definitely work with them again.

Carla and Daniel were so wonderful to work with. The song I'd chosen to walk down the aisle to was Jeff Buckley's version of "Hallelujah", which is guitar and voice, and transcribed it for Daniel and herself. They invited my now husband and me over to listen to them playing it live, and we were in tears, it was so beautiful! They listened to what kind of ceremony we wanted, and helped us pick out the rest of the ceremony music to reflect that. We also chose an original song Daniel composed to walk down the aisle at the end of the ceremony. It was so perfect! I would choose them again and again! AND the price was low. Overall, working with them was a dream.

From the first contact, the Padrons were calming and easy to work with. The music was awesome! Everyone at the wedding really enjoyed the atmosphere they created at the ceremony and reception. They were quick to respond to any questions I had which was a relief because wedding planning is soooo stressful!

Obsidian Duo was excellent. They learned a song that I really wanted played as I walked down the aisle. It was perfect. They also played during our cocktail hour and put our personality into the hour by playing Sweet Home Alabama and the Sex and the City theme song. These were all extra special touches that made our day all the better. They were very reasonably priced and great to work with. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

This violin and piano group played for my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. We met with them at their home (they are a husband and wife team) and they played us music to choose from. They were so easy to work with and able to play some of the special requests I had for the ceremony. We also had them play for the cocktail hour. They arrived early and were very professional. My guests commented on how beautiful the music was for the ceremony.
