The 1852 Bridal House did a fantastic job on my dress. Not only was it a great replica of what I wanted but it was way better. Valecia was very easy to work with. I do think that she needs an assitant because she has so much business. She is very understanding. Not only did she make my wedding dress, but she did my sisters maid of honor dress. That was fabulous as well. I would use her again.

Hello:My name is Kena Clark and I live in Alabama. I'm so excited to write this review for The 1852 Bridal House & Tea Room! First of all, I found a Romona Keveza dress that I absolutely fell in love with. Unfortunately, the cost was way out of our budget. The dress was about $5,000!! So I started looking for other options. I found Valencia online because I was looking for a dress shop that re-make designer gowns. As soon as I called Valencia, I was blown away by her great personality and professionalism. After our conversation, I sent her an e-mail of the gown and she promply responded saying that she can re-make this gown less than 50 % of the cost. I was so happy. A fews weeks later, I found out that I was pregnant. Unsure of what I needed to do, Valencia assured me that things would be alright. I met Valencia in December. She was very nice and professional. She has gorgeous gowns! After the birth of my son, I was back at the dress shop to get fitted for my gown. Valencia was very accurate in measuring me and kept in touch periodically during the completion of the gown to make sure I was still within those measurements. I was given an accurate date for the completion of my gown and also was e-mailed several pictures once it was complete. When we arrived, my dress was waiting for me! It was exactly the same style as the Romona Keveza!! I was beyond words. She also made sure that I was completely satisfied before we left.In conclusion, Valencia the owner of the 1852 Bridal House & Tea Room, did an outstanding job! She was very professional, courteous and always, always communicated with me! I would recommend her to all brides!! She can re-make bridal gowns and the entire bridal party's gowns, as well. And these dresses will be at a lower cost. The 1852 Bridal House & Tea Room is a great choice for any occasion!!!!!

Working with the 1852 Bridal House was a pleasure. The service was friend and very professional. The dresses were just as I pictured! I meet with the owner at a local bridal show and her work was GREAT! She knew the needs and understood the budget. She saved me so much money and I will forever be thankful. I referred another bride and she was pleased as well. She got the dress of her dreams and it gave the entire wedding party a WOW.

I believe that Valencia was an untruthful, unresponsive, and rude vendor. I had to more than micro-manage the entire process! She even sent emails flat out insulting my bridesmaids and me. The dress was delivered late and I still had to have almost $300 in alterations done because Valencia doesnt appear to actually do any of the alterations or sewing herself. She didnt even do a simple hem on one of the bridesmaid dresses.... after taking the measurements for the hem and leading us to believe that she was doing the work, she dropped the dress off at a small, ghetto-looking dry cleaners that she had NEVER used before... surprise, surprise, they messed it up.My bridal grown was a nightmare to get made using ABF. TERRIBLE!!!Do some research before using this woman... she has gone by variations of her name (Valecia, Valencia, Lisa, Ms. V) and has changed her "company" name multiple times (ABF Bride, A Bride's Friend, The 1852 Bridal House & Tea Room... among others...) Not to even mention that is the year I was dealing with her she moved 2 or 3 times.
