The Grande at Kennesaw

The staff that work at the venue did a great job putting our wedding and reception together. They listened to my wants and needs and meet them to a "T". The outside vendors they used, including the caterers, DJ, and Bakery, were well liked by many of my guests.

Fabulous in every respect. Couldn't be more pleased with the services provided. Michael Ann is a blessing. The comprehensive pricing package and all inclusive service made everything so simple. We just sat back and enjoyed the day - The Grande did everything else!

Every bride deserves to have a "fairy godmother" who will provide her a fairy tale wedding! We found our fairy godmother at The Grande at Kennesaw and her name is Michael Ann. A swish of her magic wand and a twinkle in her eye brought forth every wish and desire my daughter wanted for her special day.The ease and simplicity of a venue which provides everything in one package ... The Grande at Kennesaw accomplishes this feat perfectly. The man hours, numerous trips, and endless phone calls typically associated with weddings & receptions have been eliminated when choosing The Grande.Our cocktail buffet, created by Chef Bobby, was a culinary delight. Our guests raved over the numerous choices, the outstanding quality, and the disappointment in not being able to take home the leftovers. Laura, our florist, amazed us with her floral creations. The bouquets, the vase arrangements, and the floral displays in the buffet room and ceremony site were exquisite.We experienced only one issue (which is the reason I rated less on Professionalism) with the substitute D.J. Mr. Jon Widerstrom was booked the evening of the wedding at another venue. I do not feel this is a reflection on The Grande but rather an isolated situation. Michael Ann was very understanding and the situation has been dealt with accordingly.We can highly recommend The Grande at Kennesaw to any bride looking for her wedding venue. And don't forget ... this venue comes with a fairy godmother !!!

I recently had my wedding ceremony and reception at The Grande this summer. Prior to my wedding date, The Grande was nothing but excellent as far as planning is concerned. Our meetings were very organized, thorough, and efficient. The wedding coordinator, Michael Ann, was absolutely amazing! She always returned my emails/phone calls promptly and provided an answer to every question I asked. The florist, Laura, was wonderful to work with. She incorporated my color scheme beautifully, and did a phenomenal job with all the floral arrangments. The chef, "Chef Bobby," held a tasting for us and allowed us to request what we wanted to sample prior to finalizing our menu for the reception. The food was delicious, and our guests raved about all the amazing selections that were available. The Grande has their wedding cakes done through Gabriel's Bakery in Marietta. Johnnie at Gabriel's met with me to discuss our cake design and draw up a sketch; Gabriel's then allows you to pick 3 cake combinations and makes you three small cakes for you to pick up and sample. (Much better than just a sample bite!!) Our cake was gorgeous on our wedding day and numerous guests complimented us on its flavor. We also did our favors through The Grande and selected the monogrammed cookie option; once again, they easily incorporated our color scheme down to the ribbon bows tied on the cookies. Our wedding package also included limo transportation. My groom kept our wedding night destination a surprise; Michael Ann communicated with him and answered all his questions in order to make the arrangements. The Grande's typically contracted DJ was not available on our wedding day, so another DJ was recommended. Debra met with us prior to our wedding date to make our ceremony music selections as well as our DJ reception requests. She let us customize our reception music list and made sure certain songs were played. I could not have been happier with my wedding at The Grande. Michael Ann is beyond amazing; she ran our evening time table perfectly and made sure the night went smoothly. All my expectations were exceeded, and our wedding day was just as we dreamed. Since The Grande offers the "all in one" approach, it made it so easy to work with the various vendors and not have to run around town to sign multiple contracts. We were able to pay to the Grande and they take care of dividing it up to all the vendors. I highly recommend The Grande as a wedding venue; it's sweet southern charm and inviting staff make it the perfect place for your special day!

We scheduled my sister's wedding with the Grande because of the beautiful venue and the fact that they handled most of the arrangements inhouse. My sister lived 2000 miles away, so it was a relief to have the Grande do all of the heavy lifting that would otherwise fall upon her local family. During the ceremony and reception, I was impressed not only with their level of professionalism, but also of Michael Ann (our coordinator). For the whole night she was always exactly where she needed to be before it was necessary to call for her. Her professionalism was only matched by her enthusiasm for her work. While the Grande is not the cheap, it is far from overly expensive and I believe represented an excellent value.

The Grande staff is amazing! The whole process was so easy and they made us feel like family. We stopped by with various members of our family several times during our planning, sometimes unannounced and we were always welcomed and they knew who we were. Michael Ann did a great job of keeping things moving and making sure we had everything we wanted. Laura did an amazing job with my floral, we did some funky concepts and she totally saw my vision. Chef Bobby exceeded the expectations of our family who LOVE food. The BBQ for rehearsal was outstanding and our southern/cajun reception was a hit. People are still raving about the whole shindig a month later!!

I am so very happy that I had my wedding at The Grande! Everything was wonderful and exceeded my every expectation! Everyone was great to work with and I did not have to worry about a thing. I went in for 2 meetings to plan everything and they handled it all. A lot of people commented the week or so before the wedding about how calm I seemed and I would tell them that I was not stressed out because The Grande took care of almost everything. During and after the wedding, we got such good feedback from our guests! Everyone commented on how pretty the flowers were, how wonderful the food was, and just how nice everything was. I highly recommend The Grande!

Planning my wedding 6 weeks after my dad died was not something I was looking forward to. I did not have the time or the energy to run all over town setting up vendors, trying to find a recepton location, pick out flowers, etc. and stay on a budget. I am so glad I found the Grande! They were wonderful to deal with! They took care of everything with minimal work from me or my Mom. We had two planning meetings that took less than two hours and everything exceeded my expectations! The flowers were beautiful, the food outstanding and the cake was magnificant!!! It rained on our wedding day and we have about 25 children under ten at our reception. Jon, the DJ, kept them all entertained and on the dance floor for the entire event - he was wonderful. All my guests have had nothing but rave reviews for the Grande. We had a wonderful, stress-free, happy day and it couldn't have happened that way without the wonderful people at the Grande. You won't be disappointed!

In planning our wedding, I knew I wouldn't have a lot of time due to a large project coming up at work. I wanted to select a venue that would be easy to work with and had options for included services. This is why I went with The Grande. Knowing that they could cover the ceremony, reception, floral, catering, DJ and day-of-coordinator, they were my top choice. Upon visiting the venue, I knew that it was the perfect place and that we'd have some great photos. We met with Carolyn and quickly decided it was where we wanted to get married.The package came with two planning sessions, to cover floral, catering, music, cake, and event design. I thought two wouldn't be nearly enough - but quickly realized these guys knew what they were doing!I've never been a big floral girl, and I didn't see the point in spending so much on something that doesn't live for much longer than the wedding. I went minimalistic and stuck to the floral budget that came with my package. I grew up wanting irises in my bouquet since they're my favorite flower. In our floral meeting, I decided I only wanted irises. Anastasia was able to find the *MOST* beautiful irises I've ever seen. I love how my bouquet turned out! The other floral creations matched with the theme, white roses and peacock feathers - they looked fantastic too! The attention to detail on the floral was great - absolutely loved them!People continue to tell us that our wedding food was the best they've ever had. Chef Bobby did a great job with our food - it was DELICIOUS!Michael-Ann was helpful on the morning of the wedding. Things ran smoothly as far as I know, and it's thanks to her and the team at The Grande. She kept the reception running on time, which was great. My only minor complaint (and I mean REALLY minor) was hurrying us through our photos after the reception. I know she had a timeline to keep, but the pictures were really important to us and from what I've heard - the guests didn't feel like we were gone for that long for photos. All in all, I can't fault her for doing her job (cause she's great!) - but I would have liked a few more minutes with the photographers after the ceremony.All in all, the folks at The Grande were absolutely great to work with - no regrets in chosing to go with them!

Everything and everyone about The Grande is amazing! Our wedding was perfect. We could not ask for anything else. They covered all the little details. It was so easy to plan everything, yet still so personal. We got a ton of comments on everything...the food, cake, music, decor... Everything!!They really wanted to make sure our wedding was everything we wanted and more.

The Grande was perfect! The food was amazing - never before had I heard people rave about WEDDING FOOD. Bobby (the chef) can cook anything. Something you want not on the menu? They'll work with you. The flowers were perfect - trust the florists! The coordinators were great, the setup was terrific. The flow of the night was flawless. Another plus: You can bring your own liquor/alcohol, and The Grande supplies great bartenders. My mom wanted classy to make relatives happy, and I wanted fun to insist that friends would have a blast. You can save a TON of money by going with The Grande and get a fabulous, fun, and classy wedding without compromising anything. Without a doubt, you get more for your money at The Grande.Carolyn Lyle is smart, honest, creative, and has a great sense of humor. She was great to work with!I got married in November 2008, and now in January 2009, I'm still having friends and family telling us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to.

The Grande is absoloutley amazing! We were picky about our wedding venue becuase my mom was in the business, but The Grande did nothing but impress us. They are an all inclusive place, but there is not one thing to complain about. Each and every service they offer-cake, music, food, flowers, planning-is the best you can get in the area. Bobby and his staff were absoloutley amazing and th food he made was wonderful, the wedding was almost a month ago and people are still telling me how wonderful the food was. Heather's cakes were gorgeous and delicious. DJ Jon kept everyone on the floor and kept the party going the whole time, he was great. And Anastasia and Laura did a great job on our flowers, the bouquets and centerpieced were beautiful. The Grande is a great place, they created the perfect wedding for us and we never forget our memories from our wedding night at The Grande.

The Grande was absolutely awesome! I didn't want to think about my wedding...to actually plan it, and they took care of everything. The flowers were beautiful and the food was amazing. Everyone had a great time and I didn't have to stress out! It was great!!

The Grande was AMAZING! If you are looking for a one-stop shop with the ability to customize or keep it simple, this is the spot. We were on a tight budget and everyone from the cake designer to the chef was conscious of it and super helpful. We got the most out of our money and didn't run around like crazy people trying to visit each service provider individually. I would send all my friends there. We were done planning in 3 meetings and a few emails!

It was such a joy to work with the staff at The Grande. You could tell that they truly love their jobs. It was so wonderfully stress-free to work with a truly all-inclusive venue. The 2 planning meetings made it so easy on the bride. I literally sat there (on the comfy couch in the beautiful bride's room!) while each of the vendors talked to me about what I wanted. I brought in a binder of ideas and we planned the flowers, cake, music, food, etc. all at once. I was amazed that planning a wedding could be so easy. However, I made no sacrifices in the process. The wedding was still very much "me." An "all-inclusive" venue does not mean a "cookie cutter" wedding. The Grande staff worked with me to plan a wedding that reflected my unique style and incorporated all of my little touches, like a vintage cake topper, a memory table for deceased relatives, and centerpiece flower vases that my family brought in.On the night of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly. I didn't have to worry about a thing. The staff of the Grande even took care of my pillbox hat/veil for me when I took it off on the dance floor...The cake was beautiful, the music kept everyone on the dance floor all night, the food was amazing (crabcakes- yum!), and the flowers were more beautiful that I had dreamed.I highly recommend The Grande.

Everyone at The Grande is amazing! Our wedding day was perfect and we can't thank them enough for their creativeness, hard work and compassion towards all that they do. The food Bobby prepared was delicious; the flowers Anastasia arranged for the bride, maid of honor and the table pieces were gorgeous! Jon, the resident DJ, did an excellent job with the music and had a lot of fun games/music for all the kids as well as the adults. Michael Ann was a positive & up beat wedding coordinator who allowed everything to flow smoothly! Heather made the most gorgeous and delectable wedding cake that matched our accessories perfectly. The chocolate covered tuxedo strawberries were also exquisite and delish!The entire day & place was very romantic and quaint. Thank you for being a part of our special day!

Our wedding was wonderful and all of our guest had an amazing time. The food was awesome! I loved that I could meet with most of my vendors in one location. This helped to make planning our wedding not as stressful which was great! The only down side was that I felt that I had some conflicts with the coordinator assigned to my event (not the normal person who does it). I felt like she was not familiar with all of the planning and coordination that went into our wedding. My suggestion would be to make sure that you meet with your coordinator more than once (not just the day before) so that they know and understand everything about your event. Overall I was extremely pleased with our wedding and the overall service that we recieved. I would definielty recommend...especially if you are looking for a all inclusive way to plan without all the stress of running around to several different vendors. :)
