Oh On, Caroline and Joe's wedding exceeded all our expectations. Everything from the first note of the harpist to the last sparkler at the end of the evening was exquisite. The garden setting was a floral heaven, and the ballroom provided the opulent elegant atmosphere that Caroline had dreamed of. On, you brought Caroline's quirky masquerade them together with your creative vision. The tables and floral arrangements were fabulous. Jessie's perfect minute by minute direction of the schedule allowed us all to relax and have a wonderful time. Everything came together absolutely perfectly. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE commented on how fabulous the event was. Many said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. My wedding at the Thompson House & Gardens was PERFECT in every way thanks to On Guest & Jessie Patton! I wouldn't change anything about it. THG is the most beautiful home and gardens and the perfect place for any bride and groom to get married. I wish I could do it all over again!

There aren’t many occasions, especially the most significant and important ones, where one can say, “Everything was perfect!” That was our experience recently at the Thompson House and Gardens in Bogart, Georgia for our daughter’s wedding in late August.Our experience started with the rehearsal dinner on Friday night and was followed the next day by a magnificent outdoor wedding ceremony and reception. The facility at the Thompson House and Gardens was “wedding perfect”. Our daughter, Jessica Rogers, even had a private dressing room with a parlor to share with her bridesmaids, all part of a great homey atmosphere that included the little touches which only added to the warmth and intimacy. The banquet hall was ample in space and the acoustics were excellent, prompting some dance fever by the wedding party and guests. The grounds were particularly well groomed and all the flowers provided by On Guest made for an amazing and beautiful backdrop. We especially enjoyed the outdoor setting following the wedding, with an open bar and hors d’oeuvres, before we transitioned indoors for the reception dinner. I knew that Jessica had made the perfect choice when it became obvious the ownership had some influence on cloud movement and rain, as it poured in Athens and we didn’t receive a single drop.The only regret was that there has to be an end to the perfect experience. It couldn’t last forever, but the memories will. I highly recommend that anyone looking for the perfect venue utilize the facilities provided by the Thompson House and Gardens. It will put the odds in your favor for your own perfect occasion. The Thompson House and Gardens is a beautiful venue near Athens, GA. My fiance (now husband) and I were looking for a venue that was beautiful inside and outside, could accommodate 250 guests and allowed outside catering. We found the THG and knew it was the perfect place for our wedding reception. We are so glad we made the decision to go with the THG. The owner, On Guest, is a wonderful person and she really worked with us to make our reception happen and make it a beautiful, personalized event that we have so many good memories of. On is also a florist and does all the flowers and decorations at the THG. All the flowers were so beautiful and we loved that she had many ideas and suggestions for us, but was also willing to listen to what we wanted and help us accomplish our vision for the decorations and flowers. Jackie is one of the wedding coordinators at the THG and she did an amazing job coordinating our wedding day and reception. She was always calm even when things were hectic and made our special day run smoothly. She even got in the back of my parents' truck and loaded all our wedding gifts so my parents could continue to enjoy the reception. On and Jackie worked together to make our day turn out the way we wanted it to and we didn't have to worry about anything. They are both wonderful ladies who really care about the couples they work with. We felt that they went out of their way to make our day special and help us have the reception we were envisioning. I would highly recommend the THG to anyone looking for a beautiful place to get married and/or have a reception where you will be in kind and capable hands and have confidence that everything will be taken care of so you can just enjoy your special day.

We didnt use the Thompson house and gardens for our wedding venue becasue we didnt know about it until after we booked out wedding venue. but i ahvve to write about how amazing wonderful On Guest is with flowers. She went above and boyond with my flowers for my wedding veremony and reception. Every single person had something great to say about my bouqet and my centerpieces. i have to say i was most excited about my flowers and she did NOT let me down!!We love you On!

I can't thank On Guest at the Thompson House and Gardens enough!!!! Everything was so beautiful and we did have quite a party crowd and we had so much fun! O Also, Jessie Patton with Wild Flower events made everything run so smoothly, I just felt at ease the whole night bc they did such an amazing job!! The Thompson House and Gardens is the perfect place to get married. It is absolutely gorgeous, inside and out. On did an outstanding job decorating and making my dream wedding come true. She knew my wedding was a butterfly theme, and she bought butterflies to decorate the area where we say our vows. She also did the flowers for the wedding. I gave her sample pictures, and I put all of my trust in her b/c I've seen her flowers from pictures, and I knew she would do a wonderful job. She did not disappoint me. I fell in love with my bouquet, and all of the flowers were so elegant and beautiful. Every Saturday night that I drive by THG on my way to and from Athens, I always smile when the house is lit up for someone else's wedding. I would love to be able to get married all over again at THG.

Thanks to you and your staff for making Morgan & Cody's wedding the best day it could possibly be. I would like to thank you and your staff for the beautiful wedding on Oct. 2. Everything that April and I had envisioned came to life on that day. The weather even cooperated. It just set the tone for the easy elegance that we desired. I got so many compliments on the venue. My friend said that everywhere she turned, there was another lovely picture. The courtyard looked stunning. I loved the flower arrangements outside. They were an earthy, cool version of what was going on inside. The ballroom was just gorgeous. You really went over and above with all the decor. The flow of the evening was just right. There was no awkward moment where people look at each other and say, "What do we do now?" Phil and I (Father and Mother of the bride) were able to work the room and enjoy our guests and dancing without worrying about those pesky details. Jessie told me, "Your job today is to be pretty and my job is everything else." Thanks for that! When the evening was over, the truck was already packed with the gifts, and we just left. I really respect the way you run your business. You understand people who have budget concerns. You are willing to offer cost-saving suggestions with ease. You understand that it doesn't take tons of money to have good taste. It just takes a little more energy. And you guys have energy, to be sure! On,All my company is gone, my house is almost back in order and now I've got all of these wonderful memories of a "Fairy Tale" wedding for Meredith and John. You totally out did yourself on this wedding! We had our wedding and reception at the Thompson House & Gardens on March 6, 2010. Having gone to over 25 weddings together in the past 5 years, we wanted something that perfectly suited us a couple and was unique. On Guest was very professional and easy for us to work with from start to finish. She followed through on all of her promises and the wedding and reception were beautiful! Jessie (rehearsal and wedding day coordinator) was also a joy to work with! Worth every penny and then some! She was extremely helpful to us prior to the wedding and on the wedding day. Our families forgot to bring a cd of our pictures for the televisions they have in the reception area. Sam, one of the Thompson House employees, walked around with a camera and photographed the ceremony for us. They made sure that the pictures he took were on the televisions for all to see during the reception! They made our day absolutely perfect! We have recevied numerous compliments on our wedding from both local and out of town friends and family. Most of them did not even know the Thompson House & Gardens existed and they were all very impressed! We could not have picked a better wedding/reception site.
